University Counseling Services
University Counseling Services (UCS) can help you resolve your personal concerns and manage your situation. Counseling can give you valuable feedback, a different perspective on your situation, and provide you with new ways of coping.
Pittsburg State University's Legal Resource Center offers full-time students access to an array of current legal resources to assist them in their legal matters. Additionally, an attorney is housed at the Center for approximately six hours a week. The Center's legal counsel will not represent students, but will assist students who choose to represent themselves in their legal matters, or refer them to an attorney who may represent them for a fee. There is no cost for full-time students to visit the Legal Resource Center, or discuss their legal matters with its attorney. Appointments are required to meet with the attorney. Multi-Cultural Resource Center
The Multicultural Resource Center (MRC) is a hub for diversity on campus serving students, faculty and staff. The MRC houses an assortment of books, magazines, and videos on various subjects including issues that deal specifically with diversity and multiculturalism.
The OIS Campus Services/Gorilla Geeks are responsible for assisting faculty, staff and students with various technology needs.
The PSU Gorilla Card is the official photo ID card for Pittsburg State University. All students, staff, and faculty will need this card whenever asked to present university identification. You are able to open a university account, called Banana Bucks, through the Gorilla Card Office located inside the Overman Student Center. Funds in your Banana Bucks account may be used to purchase a range of services. The card may be used all over campus.
