Each year, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports more than four million injuries and illnesses in private industry workplaces. Now is a critical time for industries to make sure employees are safe.
At PSU, the Industrial Safety minor is a great way to get prepared for a career in industrial management and supervision. The coursework can literally get you ahead. Ten- and thirty-hour compliance cards from the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) are awaiting students who qualify. Coursework for this minor requires satisfactory completion of 21 semester hours of college work.
